TWM Platform – How to Connect for Traders

Setting up a Connection

TWM is a multi-connection platform, that allows users to have numerous connections running simultaneously, thus allowing market data and trading from several exchanges at the same time.

Please watch the video for a full demonstration.

To retrieve market data and/or place trades, users need to configure at least one connection.

To do so it's necessary to open the connections Configuration center:

  1. Open Admin Panel (Main page of the software)
  2. Click on Connections (1)
  3. Click on Configure (2)

Once on the Configuration tab, select your desired Exchange/Provider (1) and press "+" (2), or double click on it:

Lastly, if you want to trade it's necessary to add the API keys of the Exchange/Provider:

  1. Click on the desired Exchange/Provider (1)
  2. Add the keys (2)

Note: If you do not intend to trade, you can simply leave the API key fields blank.

If you haven’t obtained your account’s API keys yet, you can find a dedicated section on how to retrieve them from each provider in this guide.


Once saved, the connection appears in the drop‑down list "Connections" (1), after they have been set up, just toggle the switch beside its name to connect (2). After a successful connection, the name of the exchange is shown in the bottom toolbar (3).

Important Information

  1. Some exchanges will allow their users to select between Hedge mode and OneWay mode. It is very important you select OneWay whilst trading with TWM. Unexected errors can occurr if Hedge mode is selected.
