To connect your OKX account to TWM, please follow the instructions below.
1. First, log in to your OKX account. If you do not have an account, you might consider using our referral link to get rewards https://www.okx.com/join/62838972.
Before proceeding, ensure that important security features like Google Authenticator or passkeys are enabled on your account to protect your funds.
2. Once you are logged in, navigate to the API section by clicking on your profile icon. Here you will create a new API key.
3. Choose a name for your API key (1), then as purpose select “API trading” (2). For security, it is recommended that you bind the API key to your IP address.
You can find your IP on a site like www.whatismyipaddress.com add your IP to the list (3).
Select “Read” and “Trade” as permissions (4) and add a passphrase to protect your API key (5). Once all of this is done, go ahead and click on “Submit all” (6).
4. After the API key is created successfully, click on "Show info" (1) to view your API key and Secret key. It is crucial to copy these keys and your passphrase and store them in a secure place to use later in TWM. Once saved, click "Complete".
5. Now, open the TWM application to finalize the setup. Go to the "Connections" menu and click "Configure". Select "OKX" from the list of available exchanges and enter the API Key, Secret Key, and the API Passphrase you just saved. Click "Ok" to confirm. Finally, return to the "Connections" menu and turn on the toggle for the OKX Mainnet connection You are now ready to start trading on OKX through TWM.
