Below you will find detailed explanations of each section.

General

Project

Image

This section is mainly for users working with custom strategies or indicators.

  1. Path to Custom Project: the location where your project source files are stored.
  2. Path to Custom Project DLL: the path to the compiled dynamic-link library (DLL) of your custom project.
  3. Compile in Debug: enables debug mode when compiling code, useful for troubleshooting.
  4. Reload Script on Recompile: automatically reloads your script after a new compilation so that changes take effect instantly.

Preferences

Image

Control global platform preferences.

  1. Time Zone: choose your preferred time zone for chart display. All data is stored in UTC format but is adjusted on screen according to your setting. This ensures consistent results across different regions.
  2. Language: currently, you can select English or Chinese.
  3. Log in File: if checked, the system creates a permanent log file at:
  4. C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\Twm\Log\
  5. This is useful for troubleshooting or keeping a permanent activity record.

Display

Image

Customize how charts and trade information are displayed.

  1. Themes: choose between Light and Dark modes.
  2. Chart Styles choose your colors for:
  3. Up bars / Down bars
  4. Candle body outline and wick
  5. Chart background
  6. X-axis labels and gridlines
  7. Price axis labels and text
  8. Indicator separator color and width
  9. Trade Styles: define how executed trades are shown:
  10. Buy and Sell execution colors
  11. Marker text color
  12. Execution plotting type (markers, text, or both).

You can reset all settings to default by clicking Reset to Default.

Please keep in mind: If you change the main theme, you need to restart TWM.one for the changes to take effect.

Configure custom keyboard shortcuts for faster chart interaction.

Available drawing tools include:

  1. Line, Horizontal Line, Vertical Line
  2. Ray
  3. Text
  4. Rectangle
  5. Ruler
  6. Risk/Reward tool

Each tool can be mapped to a shortcut (e.g., Ctrl + F1).

Email

Image

Set up email alerts from within your scripts and strategies.

  1. Host: mail server (SMTP).
  2. Port: port number (usually 465/587 for SMTP).
  3. Username / Password: your email account credentials.
  4. Test Email: enter a test recipient and click send to verify your configuration.

This is useful if you want TWM.one to send notifications or strategy alerts directly to your inbox.

Historical Data

Image

This section shows the data you have downloaded from connected exchanges.

  1. Exchanges supported include Bybit, Binance, Crypto.com, Gate, etc.
  2. Data is grouped by network (Mainnet and, in some cases, Testnet).
  3. Symbols (e.g., BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT) are listed under each exchange with available timeframes.
  4. You can clear all stored data by pressing Remove All.

Connections

Image

Manage how TWM.one connects to exchanges and data providers.

The only available option here is Enable Testnet (checkbox).

When enabled, TWM.one will connect to the Testnet environment of supported exchanges (instead of the Mainnet).

This is recommended for safe testing of new bots, indicators, or strategies, since Testnet does not risk real capital.

Mainnet vs. Testnet:

  1. Mainnet: The real, live exchange environment with real funds.
  2. Testnet → A “sandbox” environment provided by some exchanges. It simulates real markets but uses fake funds, allowing you to safely test strategies before deploying them live.

Calculation

Optimizer

This section controls how strategies are optimized.

Calculation Simulation needs to be enabled for the optimization to run on simulated results.
