Strategies

This extension brings session-based range trading into TWM. Define a trading window, capture the range, and let the strategy execute your chosen logic: bounce plays, classic breakouts, or reversions.

Instead of a “black box,” you get a transparent and configurable framework. Adjust entries, stops, profit targets, and filters—all in relation to the defined range. Explore how markets behave in different sessions (US, Europe, Asia) and adapt the rules to your style.

It’s not about giving you something static—it’s about providing a concept, an edge, and a toolkit you can refine and enjoy inside TWM.

Markets are alive with rhythm and structure. Ranges form, break, and revert—again and again. This strategy is built around capturing that behavior and giving you the tools to experiment with it.

We are not selling you a finished, static system. We are offering the idea, the edge, and the framework that lets you explore bounce plays, breakouts, and reversions across sessions. Inside TWM, it becomes your laboratory—transparent, flexible, and entirely under your control.

This is not about promises—it’s about capability. The real value is in the inspiration and the technical foundation that allows you to shape a system you understand, trust, and enjoy.

Description

This extension is built around the idea that every trading session defines a range. That range becomes the foundation for decisions: whether price will respect it, break through it, or revert back inside.

Once a session window is defined—be it US hours, Europe, or Asia—the strategy captures the high and low of that period. From there, you can choose how trades react when price interacts with those levels:

  1. Bounce Entries anticipate respect of the boundaries. If price touches the bottom of the range, the strategy looks to buy; if it touches the top, it looks to sell.
  2. Breakout Entries anticipate continuation. When price pushes through the range, the system enters in the direction of that breakout.
  3. Reversion Entries anticipate failure of the breakout. After a push beyond the range, it positions for a return back inside.

Each order type—limit or stop market—shapes the character of the entry, from aggressive confirmation to more controlled participation.

All targets, stops, and breakeven rules scale in proportion to the range itself, meaning risk and reward adapt dynamically to market conditions. On top of this, several filters can reshape behavior:

  1. Directional filters allow you to align or fade the broader session bias.
  2. Range filters ensure the setup only activates within certain volatility conditions.
  3. Start position filters respond to where the market opens relative to the range.
  4. Signal skipping helps avoid the “first touch” trap that often produces false moves.

The result is not a single rigid playbook, but a framework of range interactions: bounce, break, or revert. By combining session windows, entry styles, and filters, you can build very different personalities out of the same core concept—conservative range fades, aggressive breakout chases, or contrarian snap-backs.

It is a modular idea: one piece of logic, many possible adaptations.

Main Features

Flexible Session Control

Define trading days, hours, and even extend sessions—experiment across US, Europe, or Asia.

Multiple Entry Logics

Switch between bounce and breakout styles, with both limit and stop market options.

Advanced Filters

Apply direction, position, min/max range, and skip filters to refine your signals.

Dynamic Risk Management

Stops, targets, breakeven, and trade caps all scale with the defined range.

Session-Aware Design

Every trade is anchored to a clearly defined time window. You can experiment with US, European, or Asian sessions, including after-hours, to uncover how markets behave differently across the globe.

Smart Signal Filtering

With options like “Skip Signals,” you can automatically ignore the first test of a level—often the weakest—helping reduce noise and false triggers.

Trade Management Control

From closing all positions at session end to limiting the number of trades taken, you control exactly how the strategy behaves during each window.

Built for Exploration

The logic isn’t locked. Every parameter—entries, exits, filters—is transparent and configurable, giving you the freedom to test, adapt, and refine until it fits your style.
