Range Levels

Session Trading

Strategies

Range Levels is a session-based trading tool that tracks how price moves within daily or intraday ranges.

It defines a time window, measures the high and low of that period, and uses those levels as a base for entries and exits

The goal is to trade around clear structure instead of relying on fixed indicators.

During each session, the tool records the highest and lowest prices between the selected start and end times.

Once the session closes, those levels stay fixed. From there, trades can be taken when price bounces from the edge, breaks through the range, or returns back inside after a failed breakout.

Description

There are four entry modes that define how trades are triggered:

  1. Bounce Limit places orders at the edges, expecting price to reject them.
  2. Bounce Stop Market waits for confirmation before entering.
  3. Breakout Stop Market enters as price breaks through the range.
  4. Breakout Limit joins after a pullback once the breakout is confirmed.

You can shift entry placement slightly using the offset percentage to make it more or less aggressive.

Stops and targets are set as percentages of the session range, so they automatically adjust when volatility changes.

A breakeven rule can move the stop to entry once price reaches a certain distance, helping protect profits without manual intervention.

Several filters let you control when trades are allowed:

  1. Direction filters can follow or go against the previous session’s direction.
  2. Range filters limit trading to sessions that are not too narrow or too wide.
  3. The start position filter looks at where the market opens within the range.
  4. Skip Signals can ignore the first level touch or breakout to reduce false entries.
  5. You can also limit the number of trades per session and decide if all trades should close when the session ends.
  6. Session settings allow you to pick which days to trade and define the start and end times.
  7. You can also extend trading beyond the set window to include after-hours moves.
  8. This helps study and trade market behavior across different sessions such as US, European, or Asian hours.

Range Levels is built as a simple and flexible framework. Is a toolset for traders who want to observe, test, and trade how markets behave between session highs and lows.

Main Features

Flexible Session Control

Define trading days, hours, and even extend sessions. Experiment across US, Europe, or Asia.

Multiple Entry Logics

Switch between bounce and breakout styles, with both limit and stop market options.

Advanced Filters

Apply direction, position, min/max range, and skip filters to refine your signals.

Dynamic Risk Management

Stops, targets, breakeven, and trade caps all scale with the defined range.

Session-Aware Design

Every trade is anchored to a clearly defined time window. You can experiment with US, European, or Asian sessions, including after-hours, to uncover how markets behave differently across the globe.

Smart Signal Filtering

With options like “Skip Signals,” you can automatically ignore the first test of a level, often the weakest, helping reduce noise and false triggers.

Trade Management Control

From closing all positions at session end to limiting the number of trades taken, you control exactly how the strategy behaves during each window.

Built for Exploration

The logic isn’t locked. Every parameter is configurable, for example: entries, exits, filters. Giving you the freedom to test, adapt, and refine until it fits your style.
