Here’s a quick look at everything you get with TWM, completely free and with no hidden fees:
TWM includes a built-in MSBuild compiler, allowing you to create strategies and indicators in your favorite IDE and compile them directly within TWM. Once the compilation process finishes, in just a few seconds, your scripts are ready to use. With the most recent release, TWM supports complex strategies that can run across multiple timeframes, symbols, and even exchanges. This flexibility also extends to indicators, custom UI components, and smaller modules like custom commission calculations and optimization coefficients.
TWM uses C# as the primary language for all add-ons. You can find extensive API documentation in the WIKI section on this website. Our 24/7 support team is always available to assist you with any questions or issues.
Additionally, be sure to check out our Extensions section, where you’ll find strategies shared with open-source code and accompanying video reviews.
Our Validator tool lets you create and manage multiple portfolios simultaneously. Its flexibility will let you combine diverse strategies, settings, and instruments (even from different exchanges) within a single environment. You can execute multiple strategies in parallel or isolate a single strategy for a specific list of instruments. The Validator also provides detailed analytics on combined and individual performance, including charts, trades, orders, equity curves, and drawdown. This comprehensive approach allows you to build complex instrument lists, perform simultaneous executions, and thoroughly evaluate outcomes, giving you deeper insights into both overall portfolio performance and each strategy’s specific results.
One of our primary goals is to provide our fellow traders with tools that enable them to develop robust strategies capable of adapting to ever-changing market conditions. The WFO Optimizer simultaneously runs multiple strips of in-sample and out-of-sample data periods, allowing you to observe combined out-of-sample performance. Its intuitive and fast user interface lets you select the desired timeframes and set up tests more quickly than with conventional optimizers. Equipped with both an exhaustive and a genetic optimization engine, the WFO Optimizer has already demonstrated its ability to uncover compelling parameter combinations among millions of possibilities. For additional details, please consult the WIKI section.
Our platform features a built-in local simulator engine that allows you to test any connection before trading live. You can seamlessly switch between live and simulation modes, giving you the flexibility to practice trades as long as needed. All core functionalities: strategies, custom UIs, indicators, and chart trading, are available in both environments. In addition, when supported by your connection provider or chosen exchange, you can use an outsourced simulator that processes and executes orders externally rather than locally. As a result, traders have three options for order execution: live, outsourced (via the provider), or local simulation. For further details, please consult our documentation.
We recognize the extensive range of possible market connections and the technical considerations that come with each one. Our goal is to continually broaden the TWM platform by adding new connections for cryptocurrency, stocks, futures, and other commodity markets. We also intend to provide access to more specialized national exchanges in various countries. Some connections are native to TWM and come prepackaged, while others are offered as extensions.
The heart of TWM! We provide an extensive API to our users to be able to code their own algorithms, as well as free extensions to be explored. Rather than relying on a proprietary scripting language, TWM uses C# .NET, giving you access to the entire .NET framework for near-limitless creativity in building sophisticated trading solutions.
You can execute on bar close as well as on tick logic. You can run logic on bar close or every tick, create custom user interfaces, develop semi- or fully automated traders, build calculators, screeners, arbitrage executors, and much more. For additional details, see our API documentation.
Indicators is where it all starts for many traders, and TWM comes prepacked with a set of 20+ standard indicators, plus the ability for users to code their own at any time in C#.
You can create indicators on charts or on additional panels without any limitations. All standard indicator features are widely available, including plugging one indicator input into the other, adding extra data series, and performing complex calculations over large sets of data.
The adrenalinic part of the TWM software is when you can really get hands on and trade manually. Our chart trader is easy to use and understands all the orders you need. You can drag drop and modify your orders with your mouse and easily perform your everyday trading operations.
Our main aim with the Chart Trader is to make traders love it like we do and get excited to place orders using our UI. We tried to provide the smoothest experience with our on chart order placement tool so traders can make easier their every day trading life.
